Would you look at that, I managed to get a post two weeks in a row! Wish I could say that was going to happen more regularly. Unfortunately, I ought to warn you not to get used to it. Well, today I’m talking about games again. Posting about bingo last week gave me an idea for a tip of advice: it’s really easy to turn basic, kind of boring old party games into fun, raunchy bachelorette party games that’ll be a riot. I’ve got two examples today.
First, pin the tail on the donkey. It was really fun as a kid, right? But you’re probably thinking of playing it now and it would be pretty lame. Well, what if instead of pinning a tail on a donkey you were pinning a silly-looking cartoon penis on a picture of a hunky man? That’s the idea behind pin the macho on the man.
I played this at a bachelorette party I threw once and it was an absolute riot. All the girls loved the silly shapes of the penises, and the “donkey” wasn’t too hard on the eyes either! I didn’t expect it to be such a hit, but this one really went over well.
The other one went over pretty well too, but that didn’t surprise me. This one’s like hot potato, except, well, you’ve probably already guessed that it’s not shaped like a potato.
Yep, that’s right. Hot Willy is a game where you wind up this little guy and pass it around a circle. Whoever has him when he stops shaking is out. As you can probably imagine, this game is hilarious and everybody has a good time when we play it at parties. And of course, there’s no shortage of vibrator jokes about the guy, too. It was a great time and I distinctly remember having tears in my eyes from laughing so hard playing this game once.
There are plenty of other games that have raunchy versions you can think of, you just have to use your imagination. In fact, if you think of any others, leave a comment! I don’t have to be the only one giving ideas and advice here.
See you next time,
Carly

Tip #11: Bachelorette Bingo
First of all, I want to apologize for how long it’s been since I last posted. I’ve been absolutely swamped at work lately. Sorry everybody. I’ll try to get back to posting regularly, but unfortunately I can’t make any promises.
Anyways, today I have a new game to talk to you about. It’s another regular game, specialized for bachelorette parties. If you looked at the title, you already know what it is: bachelorette bingo. There isn’t a whole lot to say about it. It’s just like regular bingo, but with words related to bachelorette parties and getting married. My favorite party planning site has free sets of bingo cards you can download for it. They have two versions: bachelorette party bingo and bridal shower bingo. The difference between them is that the words for bachelorette party bingo are a little raunchier, so if you’re throwing a cleaner-themed party you should pick bridal shower bingo.
It’s pretty straight forward. Just print out the bingo cards (however many of them you need for your number of guests) and the list of all the words. Cut up all the words from the list into strips of paper and put them in a hat, so the caller can pick words from the hat for people to mark out. You should let the bachelorette have the honor of being the caller, and let her play at the same time. Just make sure she doesn’t abuse her power and cheat! You can use something small like pennies as markers for the cards.
I know bingo might sound like kind of a lame game for a bachelorette party, but don’t underestimate it. It can be really fun, especially if everyone’s had a bit to drink already. To make it more fun, you could probably turn it into a drinking game. You could play that whenever you don’t have a word that’s called, you have to drink. Or you could have the winner of each game distribute shots for people to take. There’s a lot of room for possibilities. I hope you liked the idea, and I’ll have another game to share with you (hopefully) next week.
See you next time,
Carly
