As promised last week, this post is going to begin my next series of posts which will be all about my recommendations for clothing and accessories you can get to wear at your bachelorette party! I think it’s very important to get at least some sort of clothing to mark the event - not only will it let everyone around you at the bars or clubs know what you’re there for, but it gives everyone something to remember the night by. Some people try and get away with just a little button to distinguish the bride and bridesmaids, which is fine, but I think you should have something a little more, well, visible. The more the better! And I have no shortage of experience picking out different clothing options and accessories for friends’ bachelorette party, so for the next couple of weeks or however long I’ll recommend some things that have worked well in the past.
I feel like the natural starting point here is shirts, or tanktops. They’re big and visible and a good way to let everyone know who’s who. There are tons of designs out there for both shirts and tanktops, but most of my friends prefer the tanktop style, so that’s what I’m used to getting. My favorites that I ever got were a group of simple black tanktops with words written in gemstones on the front:
As you can see, it’s pretty simple, but eye catching, and without being gaudy. Plus, they have a built-in system for indicating who’s who - there’s separate shirts for the bachelorette, maid of honor, and bridesmaids.
I also found out that that website carries all of them in white too, so here are the links for those:
Bachelorette
Maid of Honor
Bridesmaid
I think that’s pretty much all there is to say about this. Yeah, I’ve bought other shirt designs before and they’ve worked great, but these were just my favorites. If there’s any interest, I’ll post some more shirts next time, and otherwise I’ll move on to something else. We’ll see!
See you next time,
Carly
